36 years in law enforcement, including uniformed patrol, undercover narcotics, SWAT as an assistant team leader, entry man, and sniper make for a pretty solid foundation to judge the merits and drawbacks of lasers. In this article, Scott Wagner breaks it down and explains why he is sold on Crimson Trace. Read the article and tell us whether you agree?

The Most Versatile Handgun Caliber — The .357 Magnum

In the firearms world I see much hype and overstatement. As such the real article with genuine performance is often under appreciated. One example is comparing the latest 9mm +P or .357 SIG load to the .357 Magnum. Those may seem like fighting words to some, but read the full story before passing judgement.

Texas Law Shield: What Should I Do After Having To Defend Myself?

Coyotes, foxes, and bobcats are North America’s most abundant terrestrial predators. These species play key roles in the ecosystem, helping to manage rodent populations, scavenging carrion, and preying on larger animals that may be sick or weak. Range Report: Charter Arms Pitbull in .45 ACP

This Pitbull—like all the other models in the Pitbull series—is designed to fire a rimless, semi-automatic pistol cartridge. The unique feature of the Pitbull series is the ejector has a built in spring loaded plunger for each chamber that is depressed when a cartridge is inserted into the chamber and snaps back out into the extractor groove of the rimless cartridge case. With this system there is no need for moonclips. The chambers are also stepped, so .45 ACP cases headspace on the case mouth.
