President Obama’s strategists are working overtime to secure the crown jewel of his anti-gun legacy: a U.S. Supreme Court that will reverse Heller for all time. The threat is real and without making our voices heard, there is always the chance for the Republican-controlled Senate to crumble on a vote. So, speak up and let your voice be heard.
This week, on Thursday, March 31, Governor Terry Branstad (R) signed House File 2279, the Hearing Protection Act, into law. HF 2279 passed the House of Representatives with a 74-24 vote and the Senate with an overwhelming, bipartisan 46-4 vote. HF 2279 will go into effect immediately.

The gun control crowd will not stop. With each defeat, they up the rhetoric and demand legislation more egregious in an effort to chisel away at our Constitutional rights. After the ATF backed down, Congress became involved, but that may not be the biggest threat to your Second Amendment rights.
