Honoring Their Sacrifice

Memorial Day isn’t just about honoring veterans, its honoring those who lost their lives. Veterans had the fortune of coming home. For us, that’s a reminder of when we come home we still have a responsibility to serve. It’s a continuation of service that honors our country and those who fell defending it. ~Pete Hegseth

  1. To ALL who served, “Thank You” for your service.

We who served took an oath to “protect and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic”, and put our lives on the line. To that end, we defend the rights of all Americans. We didn’t pick and choose what parts of the Constitution to protect and defend. We swore to protect and defend the entire Constitution. We didn’t pick and choose which Americans we would represent. We served on behalf of ALL Americans.

It is a shame that we have elected officials who take, essentially, the same oath we took, whether nationally, state level, or locally, yet forget the words as fast as they speak them. Electeds who risk no more than a paper cut for their rights. Electeds who give away our rights to foreign invaders, and seek to erode our rights. People who, on Memorial Day, give such eloquent patriotic speeches.
