At the 2011 SHOT Show Umarex announced the addition of a full-sized 1911-A1 style handgun to its offerings. Designed as an inexpensive, entry level 1911, the Regent R100 is built on a steel investment cast frame, giving it the strength and heft of the original USGI M1911. The barrel is hammer-forged from stainless steel and factory-installed Hogue grip panels are included with the pistol.
Umarex CEO Adam Blalock was pleased with the new addition of the R100, saying “This 1911 introduction is exciting for us. This gun has an unmatched level of quality and workmanship for the price and this combination makes the Regent standout among the large field of 1911 45s.” In addition to the R100, a stainless steel model, dubbed the R200S, was released in late 2011.

For +P’s forged all the way
Nice, but I prefer a forged frame.
I agree with Mark McDowell- an NC store would be great- Charlotte area or a little bit north of that would be awesome
Looks nice for less than $400.00 Too bad Cheaper than Dirt does not have a store in the Carolinas. They need one in the Charlotte area.
