1911-style handguns
I’m not a fan of Glocks. I never have been. I have always liked attractive guns. For handguns, that meant things like the venerable Browning Hi-Power with wood grips, the 1911 Colt in blue with Rosewood trim, and even James Bond’s Walter PPK because of its unique lines. I always found Glocks to be a bit ugly.

Amazingly, you aren’t going to sacrifice much in the way of performance and durability. The TRP is a tactical 1911 that stands out from the crowd.

There are two great service-grade types in the 1911 handgun—stainless steel handguns are good, serviceable pistols for hard use and commander-size handguns are a good choice for concealed carry. After all, if there were a legitimate criticism of the 1911 pistol, it would be size and weight. The 1911 is thin and heavy. Ergonomics are excellent and beyond question.
