It does not matter whether you are a prepper, survivalist, hunter, student, commuter, boater, or parent. The world we live in depends on power. The CZ 455 American is easily one of my favorite rifles of all time. Looks are important, but performance is the essence of a Range Report—the CZ 455 American did not disappoint.
“Texas hog hunting is wide open with few restrictions. It’s more or less hunt when you want, with whatever legal weapon you want, in whatever style you want,” attorney Cooper said. “But that’s not to say you can’t run afoul of the law and Texas game wardens—arguably the most powerful law enforcement officers in the state. If you really are excited about bagging a longbeard this season, start scouting now.
At first look many would think Upland bird hunting season has passed. While that is true for pheasant, quail, chukar and others, let’s not forget about turkey! After all, who says you have to have a designated thumper just for turkey. Even if you do, it’s never too early to start thinking about next season, or just to break in your new gun while your dog gets a tune up. Here are six shotguns everyone can be proud while enjoying a little wing and shot time.
Anybody who has spent time hunting coyotes knows these animals are very smart. Like other wild canids and cats, they are wary to the point of paranoia. Their craftiness is legendary, and they consistently make hunters look foolish—whether the hunters know it or not. If you want to up your success rate on song dogs, read on!
As avid waterfowl hunters, we’re surrounded with an onslaught of information on how to keep safe and warm in the nastiest, late-season conditions. But what about our number one hunting companion: our retrievers? What special considerations must be made for them?
I have experimented with slugs for over 30 years because I wanted to improve the performance of the police-style riot gun. These slugs are powerful, they pound the shoulder, and they get the job done. While Lightfield’s offering excel for defense, hunters are not forgotten with both light and heavy recoil loads for added knock-down power. If you are looking for maximum performance, check out Lightfield. They are sometimes overlooked but not because of accuracy and power. This specialty maker offers real performance at a fair price.
