      The AR &AK are simply the modern versions of that same principle.

    For all you Snowflakes on here that can’t handle trigger words and have been drinking too much far right Kool-Aid, I’ll add my definition of democratic socialism for you to ponder and be fearful of. I certainly hope no one has a coronary once they realize the U.S has been practicing various forms of democratic socialism since 1776.

    Democratic socialism: “We the People” own it, it is intended to “promote the general Welfare”, it doesn’t need to generate a profit, and “We the People” voted to implement it. In a nutshell, that is all the big bad scary term “democratic socialism” is. We voted for it. We own it. We run it. We benefit from it. We don’t need to line stockholders’ pockets with gold to use it.

    Public schools = socialism
    Public parks = socialism
    Public roads = socialism
    Public water works & sewer systems = socialism
    Public utilities = socialism
    Public dumps = socialism
    Public lighting & traffic controls = socialism

    We the People vote for it . We the People own it. We the People benefit from it and It doesn’t need to generate a profit for a corporation or private party. That is democratic socialism plain and simple.

    The nation has experimented with the capitalist model of private-for-profit fire departments, private-for-profit police departments, private-for-profit roads or bridges and other private-for-profit essential services but “We the People” have mostly rejected those capitalist models in most regions of the nation.

    “We the People” have voted in favor of the non-profit socialist model of public infrastructure and public services as “necessary for the public Good”, instead of the for-profit capitalist model of private infrastructure and private services that serve to make the rich even richer.

    Having said all that, I will add that extremes on both ends of the spectrum are wrong. I will also remind all who are still reading that corruption can flourish in any position of power regardless of the system in use. A corrupt leader is a corrupt leader regardless of the name of the group being lead or how it is organized.

    Additionally: “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”

    We have a hybrid society. Democratic socialism essentially boils down to the things that the citizens demand and the leaders must deliver. It’s impossible to be a society of purely private ownership, and the few that have tried full public ownership have generally been disasters.

    The U.S. has had various levels of socialism since 1776. Let’s give back to the 90% of America that includes you. It’s time we vote for less corporate profits and shareholder dividends. I support more “public Good” and “(promoting) the general Welfare”. Corporations are not people. Money is not speech.

    Stop drinking the Kool-Aid served by either extreme of the political spectrum, The far left is wrong. The far right it wrong. Evangelical Zionists are wrong.

  18. I own several brands of ar’s and several barrel sizes up to .50 cal. Target shooting has never been More fun. Everyone should have a couple or more in there safe. We reload our own Ammo for varmint hunting also which is a Blast!!

  31. I agree with this two is always better than one. You can never have enough firearms, however make sure to follow all the gun safety rules and be smart. Always treat a firearm as if it were loaded, never point the muzzle of a weapon at anything you are not willing to destroy, keep your finger off the trigger and outside of the trigger guard until your sights are on target and you have made a conscious decision to fire and be sure of your target and what’s beyond. X large please!!

  37. What an awesome shirt! Love the reaction that you get from anti-gunners! If only everybody knew just how fun it is to go shooting!! Not only is it fun, it is a great exercise in discipline and calming of the body (to be able to make precision shots).   58. I purchased my 1st and only AR 3yrs ago. For defensive purposes when word came out that the county was closing our sheriff station. S&W Sport 15…..223/5.56. Now its a felony here in californicate, so don’t take it to the range much. Fear of losing my ccw. I try to stretch it about every 3 months. Nice rifle. Would love one of these shirts Xl to match the shirt my nephew gifted me…..AR graphic on front with words….Come Take It.

  59. I never even wanted an AR when they were $500 or so (always liked the mini-14 better!) – until Bill Clinton banned them – then i bought one each for my two young kids to inherit!
    I call them my Bill Clinton commemorative specials! I hope he can autograph them someday 🙂

The AR-15 is the optimal home defense weapon for several reasons. But for people who live in suburbs next to other homes, over penetration is one of the most important considerations. After having studied videos where guns with various calibers were used inside empty homes, the .223 did not over penetrate compared to even the ubiquitous and popular 9mm which did! So yes, you do need more than one AR: one for home defense and at least one other AR rifle in case your primary one is used during an incident. LE will most likely confiscate it for legal and investigative purposes. You may get it back but it will take some time. You’ll want to have an additional AR during that time while you’re waiting to get it back. I’d like a medium-regular size T-shirt.

    I am going to reveal an important piece of dialog in the latest Star Wars movie, which is also the very reason for which you should see the movie.

    Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is a profoundly pro-2A film. Yes, I know there will be those of you reading this who will hoot with laughter or see red with steam coming out your ears…but I can back up my claim. Keep readin.’

    Despite how much Kylo Ren ultimately sacrifices to save Ren (which allows her to deal with Palpatine – the emperor), and not discounting the coordinated efforts of the rebel forces, they would FAIL at saving the galaxy from Sith domination except for ONE determining factor. Therefore, love does not save the day, and the military cannot save our collective buttocks: what happens?

    On board one of the capital ships (Star Destroyers) in the Final Order (anyone else notice how close that sounds to final solution?) one of the officers asks another – as hundreds of star-ships, PRIVATE star-ships, without any MILITARY or centralized control, start appearing from hyperspace – “What navy is that?” The second officer looks at the screen, then at the ships appearing from hyperspace and says…

    “That’s not a navy, that’s…people”

    Now that statement doesn’t sound very pro-2A, you rightly note. But, in these circumstances it bloody well is! How, you ask? Keep readin.’

    What determines outcomes in any fight? One determining factor is numbers of combatants on either side (generally, the larger force wins). Another determining factor is weaponry (generally, the better-equipped force wins). Motivation, tactics, resilience, allies, and other factors make a difference in asymmetric warfare, but the US support of the Afghanistan people (by giving them our weaponry) allowed the “people” of the Afghan nation to kick the entire RUSSIAN military out of their country! That’s impressive!

    That’s also the critical factor in the most recent Star Wars movie. In order to be of ANY damn use at all in a military level gunfight, with capital (star)ships, every one of those private (space)ships jumping in from hyperspace better damn well be equipped with military level weapons, ammunition, and a well-trained crew. Otherwise, they are just freakin’ targets to soak up gunfire from the Final Order ships!

    In the Star Wars movie, those “people” save the galaxy from Sith domination because they had weapons capable of overthrowing a dictatorial government – just like the founders of the US strongly suggested we have by writing the 2A. I will even go further, the Star Wars movie suggests that everyone, and anyone, who can afford to obtain military grade weaponry, and attach it to a personal vehicle, or use it at their own discretion should (and NEEDS) to be allowed to do so. They may save us from being subjects of tyranny.

    Thus: Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker is a profoundly Pro-2A movie.

    P.S. I doubt that the producers, directors, investors, or indeed many of the individuals involved with Star Wars: The rise of Skywalker had the support of the second amendment in mind when they made the movie. I believe that because the message is so very much buried in the movie and because most viewers miss it, the message is so much more believable, more honest, and more revealing of what the movie-makers do in fact hold dear.

  66. I agree on the need for at least 2 ARs so having a normal AR and an AR pistol ought to count. I believe in diversity hence the lone US manufacture AK pattern in 7.62x39mm and another AR clone in .22wmr.
    The more corrupt politicians talk about banning our MSRs the more firearms I buy as I can afford them.

  74. AR15 is by far the best gun to build to custom themes. I deal with Unique AR’S for my custom tube and heat shields, from there I go crazy. Being a mil- spec weapon you can do off the chart builds. From ceracote, to duracoat your imagination can run wild. In the past year and a half I have done themes as Harley Davidson, U.SArmy,along with a USMC theme, aPittsburgh city Firefighter , a Pittsburgh Steeler logo, a distressed American flag theme, just to mention a few. Probably one of the best was the colt theme, which my client entered it in a custom A.R. 15 build at a gun show, Out of the 27 Kustoms that were entered it took peoples choice which earned him a call $500. So if you’re looking for a cool hobby can’t ask for a better weapon to do it to.   83. Why is it allowed and it is so that the people who are making the laws about firearms, especially the AR-15 style rifles, are always the people who know the very least about them? There has not been an occasion when I have heard a single comment, much less and argument against firearms from a liberal trying to disarm the honest citizen that made any sense at all. And NONE of them have ever explained how any of these laws will stop the criminal from kiling people.

I’ve had my AR for several years…clean it after every outing – whether to the range, or out in the hills! How can you NOT love that 223 or 5.56 ammo? I recently purchased a Burris scope and took it out with some friends to “sight it in” and at 100 yards let me say – it’s FUN to shoot!

However, regarding the upcoming votes – l Just really am finding it difficult to believe and accept anything that any of the potential nominees for either of the parties is saying! Our political system is totally embarising, very little to no partisanship, politicians speak of very few positive things and trash their opponents constantly and should keep their mouths shut (on all forms of social media!). Our right to Vote is precious and not taken lightly so don’t buy into just picking who is the lesser of the two evils. Think seriously about it and make it count…HOOAH!!!

At least 2 AR-15s, maybe a pair at multiple locations throughout the house, the second for the wife because I cannot fire accurately fast enough (at 4 rounds per second) to neutralize the 3 home invaders, that are more common than two, before they are upon me, – – – which requires firing 27 rounds (9 at each invader) if I am trained to get 45% hits, 50% better than our Nation’s best NYC Police Force which averages 31% hits [the FBI writes that LEOs nationally average 20% to 30% hits]. – – – This is true even if the invaders are armed with bladed weapons – – – or just fingers to stick in my eye, so the little gang girl can take her time picking out the knife to kill me with in my kitchen [so much for the “armed” and “proportionate force” arguments activist lawyers use].

  180. I live in Virginia where the new Democrat controlled General Assymbly is in session and trying to pass numerous gun control measures including a ban on assault style weapons. I retired 2 years ago from 35 years of law enforcement. I know the importance of the second admendment. I have been an avid hunter all my life and have taught my kids the importance of firearms safety. I just put in an order for 2 AR15’s and will add these to my personal protection cache.   189. I bought new a Ruger 556 AR15, then I bought one on Armslist, another 5.56. Then I ordered 8 polymer lowers in AR15 5.56. Then I ordered 9 lowers in aluminium that are 5.56 AR15. These were 80 percent lowers, then I bought the lower parts kits for them, along with the buffer tube assy. Then I started buying the barrel assemblies. But since these are ghost guns and illegle to give away or sell. I guess when I pass my family will inherit several AR15’s. What is funny is a stripped lower is considered a firearm. I have built countless AR15’s. I am not sure if 19 AR15 lowers and firearms is enough though. Everybody needs as many AR15’S as they can make in your garage. This way “BIG BROTHER” doesn’t need to know how many you have. If they checked my records they would find one AR15. If they ever wanted it. I could give them a stripped Ruger serialized AR15 that I first purchased at a firearms store. After all that is all that they know I have. Everybody has a right to own as many AR15’S as they want, with or without “BIG BROTHERS” knowledge. XL please.

  207. 6 years ago I didn’t want a gun. Years before that, the notion that only police should have guns even crossed my mind. Then I got my first gun (for woods protection). Now, I want one of every gun ever made.

    Every politician who wants to limit gun rights should first gain experience and learn about what it is they want to control. There is actually a bill in the state legislature right now doing just that!

    The bill of rights is there to limit government power. It doesn’t grant rights. All government officials need to be reminded of this.

  269. I am 78 years old and have been shooting AR15s for many years. I served in the USN for 21 years, including the Vietnam era but didn’t acquire my first AR until well after I retired. I used it to compete in NRA high power for several years. I now own four. One is the second one I used in competition. I still have the first one, which I converted to shoot 22LR after its accuracy began to falter. Numbers three and four are M4 variants and one of them stays in my bedroom standing guard over hearth and home. I wear XL size shirts.

There is now a ban on new purchases and magazines that hold greater than 12 rounds.     As a life member of the NRA, I think it is my duty to support the industry in any way I can.
    The Friends of NRA are happy to have me on the local commitee. SCCarry accepts my membership funds without question. SLED gladly took my CWP renewal fee. I have a membership to a range I have never been to so I may have the liberty of buying from CMP.
    Every 3gun match within a 2 1/2 hr radius has received my registration fee at one time or another. Some shotgun matches and IDPA competitions have accepted them as well.
    I have sat on the porch of local politicians for an hour pushing for OC here in South Carolina.
    I’m not trying to brag. I just think we should all do a little more to further our cause and keep our right to bear arms.

  276. I used an M16 for 20 years while a US Marine. Upon retirement I acquired 3 AR15’s and 1 AR10. I currently have several Mini 14’s along with M1A and pistols. Of all my firearms the AR15’s are the most versatile, lightweight, multitasking and configurable. I have taught my grand kids the purpose. safe ownership and use of firearms as tools. I also require my grand kids to read and understand the Constitution of the United States. My grand kids hunt and and target shoot for sport. Each grand kid will own an AR as a gift from me.   289. The AR15 (awesome rifle for a 15 year old) or (Amazing Rifle, everyone needs 15 different calibers) has become one of the most versatile rifles around. It can be in pistol caliber, rifle caliber (even long range rifle caliber), and now in shotgun caliber. So why do Democrats and Liberty lovers hate it. The Second Amendment was passed so that the populace could defend themselves from an increasingly well armed government, with an increasing potential to go off the deep end. We have seen recent attempts to ban so called Assault Rifles, and limit magazine size. Why? Because people who may have never even fired a gun, and have their own security, usually in the way of secret service or trained police, are afraid and paranoid that someone armed may actually oppose their attempts to take away rights. Because of a few mentally disturbed, or just plain bad people, who get guns because of bad Judges that these very people appoint, they want to ban a great gun, fun to shoot, and versatile. Our Founding Fathers would be out every weekend shooting just for fun, as they were real men, not pansy assed politicians. My shirt size is XL or XXL.

    Plus I’ve been “spreading the word”…I.e. “You don’t need an AR-15, you need two, maybe three or four, possibly five!”

  309. Comment for a T-shirt…..

    The second amendment, I was recently educated on the true purpose of the second amendment by way of a guest on Fox News show Life, Liberty and Levin.

    Our fore fathers were concerned about our democracy being corrupted from within.

    If you look around the world you can find many examples how government officials seized power over their nation and the citizens within.

    Not long ago Venezuela was a democracy along with Iraq, Libya, Uganda, Germany, Ghana and more than twenty other countries that had some form of democracy.

    Our fore fathers had seen first hand how a government could oppress it’s population. And understood that a armed population of citizens could hold is own government in check if need be.

    I mistakenly believed that the right to bear arms was mostly for my personal needs such as hunting and self protection. A well regulated militia was the part I was mostly confused about, but now I understand the true importance of why we must keep and protect the Second Amendment.

    We find out democracy under attack from foreign governments all the time but our greatest threats are from those within. Liberal ideas of socialism whereby they would seize personal property from corporations and individuals for what they Invision as the greater good.

    Socialism can not exist where you have a well armed citizenry. Disarming the citizens will be necessary in order to control that population. With ever increasing government regulations we will eventually be disarmed. We will find ourselves with a government that no longer serves the will of its citizens, but becomes a authoritarian authority over those with in it’s boarders for the porpoise of maintaining the power of the government and those individuals in control of that same government.

    If we are to keep our country a free democracy, we must all do our part to educate gun owners and non-gun owners on our fore fathers insurance policy the “Second Amendment”.

    We need to point out to others that being a democracy does not guarantee that we will always be a democracy. History is ripe with democracies which failed from the promises of socialistic ideals. We need to build on our nation’s core principals, “Individual Freedom” being one. Unfortunately like our gun rights, our individual freedom rights are slowly being infringed upon one regulation at a time.

    Voting is our best weapon towards keeping in check ideals that threaten our nation as well as our individual freedoms. Educating others not arguing with them is the way we must sway others towards our cause. We each need to learn not only what to say, but how to say it, so as to present our ideals to our critics on the importance of the Second Amendment as well as the other amendments of our nation’s Bill of Rights.

    Our Nation, a free democracy is what is at risk, not simply individual gun rights. The Second Amendment was to ensure that we stay a free democracy, do your part and educate others.

    The coming election in November will possibly be the most important election in our lifetime. Help get out the vote if you can and educate others on the reasons to forget political biases and vote for in the best interest of our Nation and our individual freedoms.

  310. Well, unlike many others, I wear just a Medium size. That being said, I own two AR-15s and one AR-patterned 6.5 CM, all three put together (I intentionally refrain from using the word “built” 😉 by myself.

  311. I once had the experience where I was convinced by my wife that I had enough guns and maybe even needed to sell some. Fortunately, I woke up before I got rid of any… It was not a dream, it was a nightmare, for sure.
    I have an AR with two upper receivers, one in .223 and the other in 5.56, One has the military style sights and the other has a red dot sight. But as the shirt says, “You need two… possibly five.”

    I wear a medium tee.

  312. Actually as there are around a 100 AR pistol and rifle variations in calibers alone,then add in barrel length variations, you’ll need a lot more than just five. An XXL shirt will need magic marker to make it say 5 plus!
