Cheaper Than Dirt! announces its participation in Springfield Armory’s XS-S Spring Essentials Weekend promotion and giveaway! To help Springfield Armory celebrate the official start of spring, and the three-year anniversary of the single-stack, polymer-framed XS-S Series of handguns, Cheaper Than Dirt! along with Springfield Armory will be giving away a free XD-S 9mm handgun! XDS_Weekend_1100x315_2Beginning Friday, March 20, 2015 and running through Monday, March 23, 2015, enter to win this ultra-thin single-stack concealable 9mm pistol.

Team Springfield’s world championship competitive shooter Rob Leatham says, “This promotion kicks off on the first day of spring. As people break out their summer clothes, the timing is right to remind them of how perfect this pistol is for spring and summer carry thanks to its incredibly flat and thin design.” The Springfield Armory XD-S series was originally introduced in 2012 and is the first and only single-stack XD made by Springfield. The XS-S’s polymer frame is a short, subcompact style with barrel length choices of 3.3 or 4 inches. The pistol includes interchangeable backstraps, an accessory rail, fiber optic front sight and the same exact grip angle of a 1911 pistol.

  1. My husband is a Viet Nam Service Connected Veteran and we need a small compact weapon for my purse to conceal as we ride. Please see fit to assist one of the nations Veterans in helping us get the gun needed for protection.
