5,200 Firearms will be sold over two days at Rock Island Auction Company on February 18th & 19th. Over 3700 items classified as antique or Curio & Relic as well as 800 sporting arms. Something for every level of firearms enthusiast will cross the block. Antique Colts, Winchesters, Smith & Wesson’s, as well as new in the box shotguns, target rifles and sporting pistols will all be sold. Henry rifles are one of the most iconic and celebrated rifles of all time and are credited for the birth of Winchester firearms. These rifles were extremely popular among Civil War soldiers. It was these rifles that Confederate troops said could be loaded on Sunday and shot till Thursday.
