RCI’s XRAIL Offers up to 23 rounds of 12 Gauge Fun Without Reloading!

XRAIL System

One of the hottest accessories featured at the 2015 Media Day at the Range was the RCI-XRAIL. Whether you have a passion for dropping snow geese by the dozens, 3-Gun or just want the ultimate in shotgun firepower for home defense, the XRAIL has the capacity you always wanted.

The XRAIL differs from much of the competition in that it turns your shotgun into a high-capacity shooting system—however, it is not platform specific. This means you can use it on a Remington, Winchester, Mossberg, FNH or Benelli shotgun. The XRAIL System purchase comes with the connecting system you choose. To switch from one shotgun platform to another, one only needs to purchase a different XRAIL Connecting System. Not a gunsmith? With the XRAIL, you do not have to make a single modification to increase your capacity up to 23 rounds without he length of traditional extension tubes.XRAIL I have shot plenty of guns with extended tubes while shooting 3-Gun or on snow geese hunts during seasons where most anything goes and the extra capacity is more than just a little fun. However, hanging the better part of a box of 12 gauge shells under the barrel is going to add weight. That’s simple physics. I talked with a couple prominent 3-Gun shooters while on the range at the 2015 SHOT Show’s Media Day at the Range and they had nothing but positive things to say about the XRAIL (from a competition standpoint). I would name drop, but did not ask permission to go on the record, but trust me when I say they are household names in 3-Gun and no, I could not perform at their speed and accuracy with the XRAIL, but I had a helluva time trying! 1. I have the xrail compact component on my Mossberg 930 18″ barrel after testing a number of rounds of different ammo I found that it cycles very well with Suprema 00 buck purchased for about 12 dollars and also the Spartan 00 buck purchased for about 11 dollars. Both of these shotgun shells are low brass and worked flawless with my xrail.

  2. I have an 18″ barrel home defense 12 gage. Xrail appears to only be made for 24″ or longer barrels. If they make one to fit 18″ barrels let me know. It would seriously up home defense fire power.

  3. I have an 18″ home defense shot gun. Craig seems to only fit 24″ or longer barrels. I am interested in using my fire power, if they make one to fit shorter barrels, et me know.

  4. Wouldn’t it be great if it would work with some of the many Remington 870 clones on the market. Hmmmm….. Any one know????

    1. @ Cecil.

If said clone copies are Exact Copies, with the Exact Same Specifications. You shouldn’t have any problems, but you might want to check with a Gun Smithy first to make sure…

I know at least two, one was the Ithaca Model 37 Featherweight with an 8-round tubular magazine. The other was a “box magazine” feed Remington 870 shotgun. The latter I think were supplied to “specialized units” like the SEALS and the Green Berets…

  5. I own the Remington 870 Express. Maybe that’s the compact? It’s 6+1.

Sure 14+1 sounds cool if I decide I don’t want to pay for the DP-12 or a customized Saiga.

I wish we could see a good demo video.

Thanks friend. Maybe I’m just getting spoiled by CTD videos 🙂

Maybe I’m just rushing on multiple issues this morning. But I should have thought of YouTube. I’ll check it out later and give you my opinion.

    2. @ ss1.

That make’s BOTH of us. I willing to suspect, if I dig far enough into the YouTube video library. I’ll find a video on the Right Way to @#$% in the WOODS…

    3. @Secundius:

You’re cracking me up! Isn’t YouTube a wonderful invention! Everything you wanted to ever see, PLUS everything you NEVER wanted to see 🙂
