NRA’s Wayne LaPierre Speaks From Conservative Political Action Conference

Wayne LaPierre, chief executive officer and executive vice president of the NRA addressed the audience at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C. Lapierre notes that no other organization in the world has spend more money to keep Americans safe. He also talks briefly on universal background checks by stating, “There are only two reasons for government to create that federal registry of gun owners—to tax them and to take them.” LaPierre also addressed school security, sequestration and women’s self-defense.
