No, You Aren’t Dreaming. Magpul Releases the Glock PMAG

Black and red Magpul Industries logo

Did I just hear harps and see angels? In my inbox, this morning, was this news: Yes. That’s right. Magpul does it again. The Glock GL9 PMAG; made of the same polymer of the Gen 3 AR-15 PMAGs, the new GL9 will fit the Glock 17, 19 and other 9mm Glocks. It is made in the U.S.A. and MSRP is set at $15.95 I do believe this Glock PMAG will be the game changer, not Magpul’s new drum magazine.

From Magpul’s Facebook page:

“The PMAG 17 GL9 is a 17 round Glock 9mm handgun magazine featuring a new proprietary all-polymer construction for flawless reliability and durability over thousands of rounds. High visibility anti-tilt follower, SS spring, easily removable floorplate for cleaning, Dot matrix for mag marking, ridged floorplate edges for better grip, 17rd indicator windows. Drops free loaded or unloaded. The same boring reliability you expect from an OEM magazine. MSRP $15.95.”

  1. Hey Magpul: How about making a 9mm, 10 round magazine for us poor CA folks and our Glock 19’s. CA doesn’t allow more than 10 round mags and the OEM mags are super expensive here. Magpul has a super reputation for quality and cost, and I look forward to seeing a Glock 19, 10 round, 9mm mag on the market in the near future. Thanks in advance !!!

  2. AGREE!! ISthere going to be a 19 mag. Some people do not care about extra two shots. Want the 15 round mag lije my wife.

  3. Hey MagPul, how about some of the extended mags for Glock, like the 33 rounder for the 9mm guns? And mags for other calibers? I would especially like to see a 30-round magazine for the 10mm Model 20.

  4. I think magpul needs to make magazines for the glock 22 too. Actually how about a standard for. 300 blk and 6.8 spc AR15s too.

  5. Awesome, US made, reputable company, great track record all for the price of a cheap Korean Glock knock-off mag… Did I mention, AWESOME. I will definitely be getting a bunch of these once available.

  6. WOWZA!! The BEST of Both Worlds!! I love Magpul products!! GREAT Equipment at GREAT prices! Can’t wait to rock me some Glock P-Mags!!
I already have Magpul floor plates on my factory Glock mags, now I can have the WHOLE ENCHILADA!! (Wonder if they’ll do them in color, O D, FDE???)

  7. I’ll certainly give them a try. I do wish they would make the 10 and 15 round mags for my 26 and 19 though.

  8. Magpul and Glock, talk about a winning combination! Love Magpul products and I still support them whenever I can for their courageous stance against Colorados tyranny.

    1. I agree. I use many magpul products. I do have to say that i still have a hard time with plastic ar mags. I do trust pmags.
