Reader Comments of the Week
“Nice article! I think most new rifle shooters,(and some older ones), have never heard of using a sling as a stabilizer. We learned that when training on the M-16. Use the same technique with the AR-15,and my M-1Carbine. Have passed this along to help other shooters. Feedback has always been positive.”

“I agree with everything W.R. Said in his review. I received my m&p shield PC about 3 weeks ago and have only fired about 50 rounds through it. The Underwood Xtreme defender 90 gr shoot very good with low recoil. I have also shot American eagle 124 gr fmg with good results. This gun is awesome. I’m probably going to get another one for my wife. The cleaning kit is a great bonus ( didn’t now I was getting that with it).”
– ERIC, in response to Review: M&P Shield Plus Performance Center
“Worked in aerospace on making injection molded parts. Found that ZYTEL Glass Filled Nylon (i. e. GLOCK frames) when properly molded would be almost equal to 7076 T-6 Aluminum. 30% Carbon Fiber filled Nylon (by RTP) properly molded would be almost equal to 1018 CR steel. Easiest way to know if reinforced NYLON was molded properly is that the surface is “Resin Rich”, and is slick. If the surface is “blouchy”, i. e. the reinforcement fiber shows on the surface, then that is a poorly molded part. Bonus is that injection molded NYLON parts typically are about 2/3 the weight of Aluminum.”
