Reader Comments of the Week

“Got MP Shield 40 after running 100 rounds through it I installed apex duty carry trigger kit, fully machined striker block, night sights and polished the feed ramp to get rid of the machining marks, as of now it’s had 1000 rounds ran through it with zero malfunctioning.”

– SCOTT, in response to Smith & Wesson Shield: 5 Accessories You Need

“SOB or Mexican carry works well for standing situations and with proper adjustment and location can be comfortable when seated and is quite concealable. Tony Montana or Scarface, and Rio or Christopher in the series Good Girls used this method successfully as did countless characters in the series Pablo Escobar.”

– WILLIAM, in response to 7 Types of Gun Holsters You Should Consider

“I have a collection of many long guns and shotguns, hunting guns and some of my military have solid stocks…no problem. However, my ARs all have tele stocks but on old Colt AR. 4 have the 6 point stocks and they work fine for me…I have 2 Grand Daughters who have short arms so adjusting is the answer. My LR308 has a Luth-AR MBA3… it does tele but I love the fine adjustment that allows me to position the rifle to MY sweet spot. I love how many adjustments that can be made and once set ( I am the only one who shoots it) Fits like a glove. Solid material stocks or matter…it is what you are more comfortable with. Be safe and shoot well.”

– WAYNE, in response to Folding and Collapsing Stocks: Are They Practical?

Alex Cole

Alex is a relatively young firearms enthusiast who’s been shooting consistently for around seven years. Though he is fairly new to the industry, he loves consuming all information related to guns and is constantly trying to enhance his knowledge, understanding and use of firearms. Not a day goes by where he doesn’t do something firearms-related.

Alex tries to visit the range at least a couple of times a month to maintain and improve his shooting skills. He also enjoys disassembling and reassembling firearms to see how they work and to keep them properly cleaned and maintained. He installs most of the upgrades to his firearms himself, taking it as a chance to learn.

Additionally, he is very into buying, selling and trading guns to test different firearms and learn more about them. He is not only interested in modern handguns and rifles, he appreciates the classics for both historical value and real-world use.
