Reader Comments of the Week

“Great article!! Very informative and helpful. I have a buddy who has a Ruger AR-556 and it is very smooth handling and nice for the price! I have been looking into getting a MP-15 but can’t decide between the Ruger or S&W. Whichever I choose I’m sure will be great though!”

– ISRAEL, in response to Budget AR-15: Get the Most Value for Your Money

“When it comes to Sig P-226 I brought one after I saw just how accurate it was in a .357 Sig used by the Texas Department of Public Safety back in the mid 90’s. I brought it and 6 months later brought the barrel for the 40cal. I have enjoyed the .357Sig configuration enough to again purchase another on but this time a Legion Series again same caliber and a 40cal barrel I love my Sig P-226 they’ve got my trust in a great firearm.”

– TGCRUSE, in response to Review: SIG P226 Legion SAO

“My dad bought the Glenfield Marlin for $69.00 in 1972 because it was lighter than the 336C. The feeding tube was shorter as it held 5 rounds vs 7. Dad loved this gun and used it for many years deer hunting. I lightened it up a little more with a synthetic stock to dad’s delight. He had a Bushnell scope on it and liked it to help his shots when the iron sights were hard for him to see clearly.”

– GARY, in response to Discover the Best .30-30 Lever-Action Rifles
