“We’re pleased and excited to be partnered with Eva—especially given the timing of the release of our Ambush .308,” said Chief Marketing Officer Cindy Daniel, who was instrumental in forging the partnership with Shockey. “I wanted to partner with her because she’s a female hunter like myself and we both share the passion for the outdoors. Eva’s influence in the hunting segment is incredibly strong, and this is one area that we are putting a lot of focus on.” In addition to her television presence, Eva is a social media heavy-hitter, with 300,000+ followers on Instagram and over a million Facebook followers, so she’ll be instrumental in helping promote the Daniel Defense brand in other segments.

The DD Ambush .308—an accurate, fast-handling, hard-hitting platform capable of taking down any North American big-game animal—features a free-floating, 18″ Cold Hammer Forged barrel that comes standard with the DD superior suppression device, extended for better recoil control. The rifle is fed with an optimized bolt carrier group featuring a redesigned geometry and a slick new coating for reliable feeding. Ambidextrous controls make operating this lightweight rifle (8.6 lbs. unloaded) comfortable and convenient for right- and left-handed shooters.

The DD Ambush .308 has an MSRP of $2,899
