Geovid-R Rangefinding Binoculars

Combining an innovative ballistics function with Leica’s demonstrated reliability and outstanding properties, the Geovid-R offers hunters valuable benefits, particularly for angle shots and when shooting in difficult terrain.

The Leica Geovid-R displays linear distances up to a maximum measuring distance of approximately 1200 yards. Thanks to the Equivalent Horizontal Range (EHR) ballistics function, the Geovid-R provides precise shooting solutions for angled shots for distances from 10 to 600 yards, giving the hunter a significantly greater certainty of an ethically placed shot. Using the EHR function requires no previous knowledge of ballistics. The display appears at the single press of a button. Pre-setting or pre-programming is not required.

A classic, ergonomic design provides comfortable handling for prolonged observation, and rugged, shock-absorbing rubber armoring ensures outstanding grip and safe and steady holding. The aluminum housing provides great protection of all sensitive inner parts, such as optics, electronics and moveable mechanics. The balanced distribution of weight, enables the user to comfortably hold the lightweight rangefinding binoculars for long periods of time without tiring.

Legendary Leica optics provide a balanced optical performance between contrast and color correction. Maximized light transmission and exceptional resolving power ensure a clear and detailed view, making the Geovid-R a dependable companion in low-light dawn and dusk conditions, when wildlife is most active.

  1. I know plenty of people that have cabinets or safes with dozens of rifles, scopes, accessories. Thinks of the cost they spent over the years.
I have an M1A with a Leica scope, a high end AR15 with a Leica scope, and the Geovid binoculars with rangefinder and integrated computer for the scopes.
With those 2 rifles I have my entire lifetime collection, and the quality to last an entire lifetime.. Why would I ever need something else? The price is not more that what other people have in their entire collection (and takes up a lot less room).
Think about the equation, too – the price of the scope should be the same as the price of the rifle. One fabulous high end rifle, and a Leica scope – what else do you need?

  2. I have the Leica Geovid HD binoculars. FANTASTIC! Amazing clarity, typical fabulous Leica optics. Once you get used to them, you can’t go back to anything else/less.

I also have the Leica ERi riflescopes on my rifles. Amazing clarity, stunning optics. Incredible low light performance.

Bad news guys: with these amazing optics, if you miss, you can never blame your optics ever again!!

  3. Guess I will apply for a second mortgage and pick me up one. Binoculars, a night vision scope, and a premium rifle for that scope= 2nd mortgage!! Hope they get a little cheaper in price, as Obama has already sucked us dry.
