Cheaper Than Dirt! is proud to announce that we now offer Colorado Buck’s Signature Series of .223 Remington ammunition.

For those of you who don’t know who Colorado Buck is, he is a world-renowned hunter, guide, and outfitter who has trekked across the world hunting game of all kind since 1980. In 1986, Buck started his company, Rocky Top Outfitters, and has taken thousands of people on hunts for massive whitetail, hogs, and nearly everything else. Colorado Buck has devoted his life to hunting, shooting sports, fishing and conservation. His popular hunting adventure show, “Where in the World is Colorado Buck,” follows Buck around the world as he searches for the best game hunting to be found. You can find “Where in the World is Colorado Buck” on the Sportsman Channel Sundays at 4:00 p.m., Mondays at 2:00 a.m., and Fridays at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time.

As an avid hunter since the ‘80s, Buck is quite aware of the problems with commercial ammunition. On a hunt, you need reliable ammunition that performs well every time and carries enough stopping power to drop that big buck, bear or other game. Working closely with some big names in ammunition development, Colorado Buck has developed his “Right Choice Ammunition” to be the most dependable and accurate ammunition on the market. These 55-grain flat base tipped projectiles speed out of the barrel at 3,000 fps and slam into the target with nearly 1,100 foot pounds of energy. If you need a dependable and accurate hunting round that can take out game, then you need Colorado Buck’s Signature Series .223 Rem.

I don’t feel big game hunting is ethical with .22 cal centerfires unless one shoots Barnes copper or Nosler partition bullets. I have had plenty of one shot kills without any lost deer with these better bullets.A 22-250 with a Barnes 53 gr copper hollow point gets great results. Federal Premium or Barnes Vortex factory ammo is the best on the market. Colorado needs to do some homework or stay with prairie dogs.
KEEP ONE THING IN MIND FOLKS
*** IF YOU ARE GOING TO SHOOT ANYTHING OVER 100 YARDS YOU WILL GET MUCH GREATER ACCURACY WITH A 75 OR AT LEAST 62 GR. SHELL ***
TRY IT YOU WILL LIKE IT ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Hey, remember when they were trying to sell the 220 Swift as a big game cartridge, with quick kills on large game made by experts with careful select shots? Then remember how any .22 caliber centerfire cartridge will explode against any type of solid bone, leaving animals with minor wounds? Remember all those years ago when the notion that high power .22’s as a big game killer were dismissed as unethical?
Don’t worry folks, they’re trying to bring it back.
