“Celebrate Your Freedom with Fireworks and Firearms” —National Firearms Training Week 2012

Celebrate your freedom with fireworks and firearms.

National Firearms Training Week 2012 is July 4 through July 11. Promoted by Alan Korwin of Bloomfield Press and is encouraging gun owners to get out to the range and train the week of July 4 through 11. Further, this is a perfect time to invite family or friends to shoot with you.

Celebrate your freedom with fireworks and firearms.

Alan Korwin has invited gun ranges all over the nation to offer an hour of free gun rental, classes for newbies, and instructors on-site to help those who are just learning.

If one of your local ranges is not participating, you can still train or take a class.

Regardless if you are an expert or novice shooter training with your gun is always beneficial.

Many firearms organizations have officially endorsed National Firearms Training Week, such as the Gun Owners of America, The Appleseed Project, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership and more. Even four Arizona Congressmen have officially endorsed the initiative—David Schweikert, Trent Franks, Ben Quayle, and John Shadegg.

Alan tells me that we all need to encourage our local shooting ranges to join in our efforts to promote National Firearms Training Week. He has fliers and logos to download on his website. Let’s spread the word, get out, and train! How will you train during National Firearms Training Week?
