CZ-USA’s P-07 Duty has been a big hit since its release a few years ago. Its “Omega” trigger system uses fewer parts than the old CZ-75B and has a smoother feel, and lets users choose between a safety lever and a decocking lever; both are included. Because the P-07 uses a polymer frame it costs much less than its alloy-framed brother, the P-06. New for 2012, the P-07 Duty in 9mm will be available with an olive drab green frame. For those of us with silencers (sound suppressors), CZ is also releasing a very nice P-07 Duty with a factory threaded barrel and super-tall, raised adjustable sights which can be seen over the diameter of a mounted silencer. This is important because many “limited edition” type pistols with factory threaded barrels still come with standard sights, which become useless when a silencer is attached to the pistol. CZ users will not have to scrounge around for tall aftermarket sights for their pistols, they can just attach their can and shoot quietly with no other modifications!
