I have now had my new Modern Sporting Rifle (MSR) for almost one year. It has been a definite learning experience, and a great deal of fun. While attending the 2013 SHOT show in Las Vegas, I participated in Media Day at the Range. There, I received a basic introduction to 3-gun competitions. For those who don’t know, a 3-gun contest uses an MSR, shotgun and pistol. It is also the fastest-growing shooting sports event and competition in the nation.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation is the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry. I just listened to the feel-good press conference about another so-called Assault Weapon Ban. It was sickening to hear the useless babble from the uneducated, uninformed lawmakers in this country until the logic struck me like a lightening bolt and really opened my eyes.
British-owned Reed Outdoor Exhibitions owns the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show. Reed made the decision to ban all displays or images of Modern Sporting Rifles. American patriots and companies have answered by throwing our friends from across the pond a good old-fashioned tea party.
