From Russia, with love is no longer just a James Bond film. Although Section 922(r) of U.S. statutes has restricted importation of entire firearms from certain enemy states since 2002, the FIME Group of Las Vegas, Nevada is keeping it legal and fun by importing parts for the AKM and other VEPR rifles and shotguns from the renowned Molot factory in Kirov, Russia, and adding FIME Group-made components to produce and sell complete firearms.
A good long-range rifle is a wonderful tool, but its capabilities are only as good as the scope that sits on top of it. This fall, my shooting partner and I had the chance to test the Savage model 10 BA Stealth chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Bushnell loaned us its Elite Tactical LRS 6-24x 50mm scope, so we could see what we were shooting at—and actually make hits.
Mike McNett grew up making and reloading ammo. He is also a huge fan of the 10mm.
