New Jersey Residents – It’s Time to Stand Up for Your Rights!

The New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) is Requesting Handwritten Letters to State Officials

In an effort to increase our chances at getting a face-to-face meeting with NJ2AS President Frank Fiamingo and Governor Christie, NJ2AS is encouraging members to engage in a handwritten letter campaign. We are also asking you contact Senate President Steve Sweeney to request a meeting with Frank as well. Handwritten letters typically get more attention.

New Jersey Second Amendment Society

We recommend following these guidelines:

  • Letters should be handwritten and brief, simply stating that as a law-abiding NJ resident you respectfully request Frank Fiamingo meet with them.
  • Letters should be written on clean stationary in black or blue ink. No jagged edge or perforated notebook-type paper.
  • Envelopes should also be hand addressed in the same color ink as you wrote your letter. Remember to include your name with your return address.

For maximum impact, we suggest sending the letter “certified” with a signature required. If you cannot make it to the post office, a traditional stamped envelope will work just fine.

Governor Chris Christie

Dear Governor Christie,

My name is John Doe, a resident of Anytown, NJ. In light of the recent efforts in the NJ Assembly to enact further gun control legislation that does not address the true issue of violence in NJ, I respectfully ask you meet with Mr. Frank J. Fiamingo, president of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society for a discussion on how New Jersey’s gun laws negatively impact law abiding citizens.

This issue is very important to me as a citizen of NJ.

Respectfully,
John Doe

Send Your Letter to These Addresses

Senator Stephen M. Sweeney
Senate President
935 Kings Highway

West Deptford, NJ 08086

Governor Chris Christie
Office of the Governor
PO Box 001

NJ2AS has calls into Senator Sweeney and Governor Christie’s offices requesting meetings. It is gong to take your letters to greatly increase the chance Frank gets to meet with them before it is too late!

Let us know what you are doing to preserve our Second Amendment Rights in the comments section.

This is a great suggestion for all in Colorado too. Please write your Senators and state reps to vote against the four House Bills that deal with Magazine capacity, Concealled Carry and their favorite Scary Black Guns. Magpul, whom has created numorious jobs for folks here in Colo is going to pull out and so are a lot of their subcontractors, if these pass.
I ask everyone in Colo to write, call and email all the Drones in Congress and the Senate to keep this from happening. I also ask everyone from out of state to do the same, let them know that you won’t be comeiing to a State that is not Gun friendly, tell them you will spend your hard earned vacation money in places that do respect the 2nd Ammendant. We should all be in this together.
Colorado has always counted on Tourism to fill the coffers, if they know it will hurt the economy worse, maybe they will get their collective heads out of their asses!

We can try and write these two but will not change their minds I have written Gov. Christie few times about the corrupt politicians where I live and not even a reply .but I will try gain. As for those complaining the we don’t pump our own gas, ask yourself this how is it that the state of NJ has laws that make it illegal to pump your own gas but the gas is still cheaper than NY, PA, DE?

I grew up in NJ. I know how NJ people are. Once they start fighting for something and word gets out, nothing is going to stop them. They have the balls to do it and keep doing it. They just need a helping hand to get it started. 2 years ago, the residents of Wisconsin fought hard to get their CCW permits and got them. The more people know abour your fight in NJ, the more support they will have and the more pressure will be put on the Governor and Senators.
